Product Description This remote control tarantula from Uncle Milton has light-up eyes and a furry texture that makes it frighteningly realistic. Watch it crawl with real spider-like movement by using the unique "spider egg" remote control to send RC Tarantula scurrying across any smooth, flat surface. With independent leg movement you can manoeuvre the spider in almost any direction. Great fun and good for scaring the wits out of unsuspecting friends and family. 6 Years +

waste of money January 4, 2009 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
what a load of rubbish,i was looking to have great fun with this, but the wheels underneath are obviously way too small and the thing barley moved with the best quality batteries in it,and only on a smooth floor, looks very false even my blind aunt, said u have got to be jokeing, was a total dissapointment and a waste of postage and anticipation,i dicided to send it back for a refund, when i find out where to sent it to.
A spider that whirrs?? January 3, 2009 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It's completely let down by the loud whirring noise it makes when moving. No spider I know does that. It fooled a relative's Golden Retriever, but only once, then it was ignored. Movement is not all that convincingly lifelike either. Also, it only turns one way. OK for a few minutes worth of novelty value, but not worth buying.
Remote Control Tarantula December 27, 2008 This spider looks very realistic, is nice and creepy with the furry texture but once moving the legs are a little stiff. It comes across quite comical racing along he floor until it gets to you and then I don't want it touching me! Worth getting for someone if they like psiders as its a novelty gift. My nieces were bashing it about a bit and it has lasted!
Dead disappointment December 5, 2008 9 out of 13 found this review helpful
With a set of fresh batteries the spider walked for a total of about 30 seconds on a smooth surface before stopping dead. For good. It's 'eye' blinked when it received a command and it made a very tiny click, but that was all. Tried with another set of new batteries, no better. In my opinion, it's not very well made, and not very impressive. I decided to ask for a refund, not replacement. Why isn't there a 'no stars' option? Caveat emptor!
"Catch" The Fun, "Catch" The Family! November 2, 2008 31 out of 32 found this review helpful
What can I say? I caught my wife when I hid it under our Living Room Fire, very impressed, she is not easy to catch! Caught my 4 daughters, 2 grandsons and my grandaughter. Great fun and is currently loaned out to family members for the umpteenth time! Value for money. Buy it!
